Welcome to ReverentSol.

I’m Mar Black, the founder of Reverent Sol—a space born from a blend of my deepest passions and creative vision. I’m a wife, a mother of two, and so much more (which we’ll uncover together over time). Today, January 1st, marks an exciting milestone: the official relaunch of this platform. For me, Reverent Sol feels like a canvas where I’ve been able to weave together pieces of what I love most—writing, wellness, mindfulness, self-healing, and yoga—into a meaningful and intentional offering. I’m truly honored to share this space with you as we walk together on the path of honoring your inner light.

So what exactly is ReverentSol, you may ask? Reverent Sol is a wellness brand dedicated to self-reflection, mindfulness, and purposeful living. Through yoga practices, guided self-healing tools, and intentional wellness resources, we empower individuals to nurture their mind, body, and soul. My wellness journey began at 13 when I stepped into my first yoga class. From the moment I settled onto the mat, I felt an undeniable connection—a sense of presence and grounding that I knew would become a guiding force in my life.

Throughout my teenage years, staying active through sports and prioritizing mindful eating became natural extensions of this connection. I even embraced a vegetarian lifestyle for over a decade, learning how intentional nourishment could support not only my physical health but also my mental and emotional well-being. Alongside yoga and mindful eating, I discovered the teachings of Thich Nhat Hanh—a renowned author, Buddhist monk, and peace activist. His words on mindfulness, presence, and inner peace became a cornerstone of my growth. They shaped how I viewed life, approached challenges, and presented a way to honor stillness amidst chaos.

During my second pregnancy, I embarked on a transformative journey by completing my 200-hour yoga teacher training. I even had the privilege of teaching vinyasa yoga classes for a while. However, as life evolved with the demands of motherhood, marriage, and a full-time corporate career, I realized how crucial it was to stay connected to myself. I often remind myself that being a wife, mother, and professional are extensions of myself, but they are not the entirety of who I am. Nurturing my sense of self amidst these responsibilities became imperative in order to thrive in each role.

Therapy became a guiding light during this time—a space where I can reflect, heal, and grow. It is one of the most transformative decisions I’ve ever made, and I remain endlessly grateful for the tools it provides. As I began sharing my wellness practices, yoga flows, and mindfulness routines on social media, people started reaching out, asking questions, seeking guidance, or simply expressing appreciation for the information I was sharing. I realized that the tools and lessons I had gathered weren’t just for me—they were meant to be shared. That’s when the vision for ReverentSol took shape. I wanted to create a space rooted in yoga, mindfulness, self-healing, and wellness—a space where others could feel supported, seen, and empowered to honor their inner light and walk boldly in their truth.

ReverentSol isn’t just a brand; it’s a reflection of my journey and an invitation for others to embark on their own path of self-discovery and healing. Here, you’ll find thoughtful blog posts, mindfulness tools, yoga resources, and reflective prompts to guide your self-healing journey. As we grow, expect meaningful offerings, including curated products designed to support your path to wellness. My hope is that this space becomes a source of inspiration, connection, and empowerment as you continue to show up for yourself, one intentional step at a time.
